For most of the athlete kids, summer is time off. Of course, they need a well-deserved break, but for how long?
HOW LONG THE BREAK SHOULD BE?
Practicing sport is continuous training where training load and rest constantly exchange. The interval between work and rest must be well balanced. If the brake is too long, it is most likely that the level of performance starts to decrease and, with new training load, the player has to recover the form to the previous stage.
It is much more efficient if the player is practicing regularly and keeps improving his physical, technical or tactical level.
Train regularly and constantly progress your performance, so you can build each new skill on the previous one.
